Social media experts being wrong.
Because of a lower death toll today? That a computer model has said it may not be as bad?
You're down playing it, as if it's some lefty agenda to impinge your freedoms, and taunt your political party which has oversaw some horrific cuts in equipments and staffing.
Some southern trusts have their staff wearing bin-bags as they don't even have aprons, that's our lead who coordinates nationally with other hospitals telling me that.
What we see in London will be what we see here in less than a week, with ICUs full. What we see in spain will be here in a few weeks. I'm in a well-resourced district general and we dont have the masks to ride this out. Our job plan has changed to accept 30-40% of us will be off ill. Apologies if I'm grouchy and annoyed, but in my wifes hospital the Covid wards are already full, and I have two colleagues with Covid, one ok, and the other on a ventilator, whilst I've likely already had it with occy health refusing to test me at the time, and a recent xray to suggest I've been working through with a resultant pneumonia.
The worst for us in hospital is yet to come, sorry if it means generic working class woman from a wool place wants your load before you go anywhere- an arrangement I thought most would be happy with.

This is seriously frightening. The newspapers are full of stories of healthy people in their 30's and 40's dropping dead in one of the most awful ways imaginable. Even the people that are surviving it are describing absolutely awful symptoms comparable to being strangled to death.

Thanks for all you do mate. Sorry about some of the dickheads in this country that are letting you down

For the vast, vast, majority of you guys, you will be fine- we just don't want you all to get sick at once, hence the isolation stuff.
The young ones are worrying, but so many are catching it, it would happen statistically. It will still be very rare I hope.

Tbh I love what I do, and if you are fit and well (I am now) you would relish what will most certainly be the NHS's biggest challenge in it's existence.
Mostly I see people sticking to social isolation well, and the 250k volunteers to help the NHS.. is mind blowing.
If it peters out with the explosive death toll, then I'll be overjoyed to be wrong. Fingers crossed I am.

Why not use an existing company, but hope Dyson can knock them up. Apart from being a brexiteer who moved his HQ, to the only country in Asia with access to EU single market?
Exactly the fella's point ; you would have thought the government would have listened to existing manufacturers, but it appears they know better.
