I understand the frustration, mistakes have been made. There will be a long and lengthy examination. It's not the time now though.
It looks very likely loved one's won't make it through this. I hope that's not the case. We're at a stage though that difficult decisions have to be made. The ball is literally in our court, wherever your position across the pond.
Stay at home. Don't risk others. If you're not in an essential industry. Stay at home. If you are in construction. Stay at home.
Unless you work in essential services. Stay at home.
Essential services in no particular order, are medical staff, law enforcement, folks who work in the food industry, pharmacists/chemists etc. It should be obvious by now.
Cutting peoples lawns or cleaning their windows is not an essential service. Neither is selling sports gear, computer games or the myriad of reasons that greedy people come up with. Including construction. Just go home.
Literally just go home, at this stage staying home is going to save lives. This isn't a panic. Faced with this threat, governments can only do so much. Personal responsibility lies with all of us. Man up/Woman up, I don't care how you phrase it. Take a couple of weeks off, get drunk. I don't care, just stay home.
