TBF that Anfield thing is being completely overblown, in terms of "people from diseaseland came to our fair city!!!!" - none of that crowd should have been there.
Every Euro game that night was played behind closed doors....
the crowds at Cheltenham were dangerously high - plus at airports, and travel no test were done weeks ago .....alas last weekend sunny weather the public just did not get the message on social distancing as the slackness had been in practice for at least 3 weeks ......yet you could argue the news coming out of Italy and now Spain was still ignored by the General Public in a selfish attitude.......to others..

I know this sounds harsh but to some degree I blame China for letting this virus develop in the first place. Let them be our guinea pigs. We're not going to be in a position whereby we have driven down the new deaths and new infections to zero, for at least 5/6 weeks I'd have thought. By that stage we will know the medical outcome of China's apparent cavalier return to normality. This time let's make sure that we learn from it. And in the meantime close our borders to all flights from China, apart from those repatriating UK nationals who should all go in 2 weeks quarantine.

Doesn't sound harsh at all - it's 100% fact. And i'm not sure why they aren't getting dogs abuse about it

Sickens me seeing people out and about, casually going about their day with their kids in tow.
The streets are quite busy considering the country is supposed to be on lockdown.
It goes beyond stupidity. Selfish, arrogant and dangerous. Lock them up and throw away the key ffs.

Its been the opposite here mate. Everything closed, other than the local garage who are obviously just finishing work on the cars they had over night, and food/chemists.

They were only letting one person at a time into Boots, so there was a queue outside. Or rather, 4 folk stood six feet away from each other! Got some stuff for my parents ok, then came home. Might be different in Bristol mind.

In reality, he drank fish tank cleaner. Chloroquine is being used worldwide to combat COVID-19 and with some early signs of success. Trump spoke inaccurately and too soon, but it's so revealing to see the media reaction to him promoting a treatment that is gaining steam worldwide. He didn't cause this man's death, and media sources all over America have retracted/corrected tweets/stories/etc. in response to the outcry ("fake news").
Superb! Trump trumped the media fake news then it seems.

Once, hopefully, this virus has been brought under control and things return to some form of normality, I expect massive unrest and repercussions for those deemed responsible.

We have no idea what state the world will be in, in the coming months and years.

Very scary times for all.

His avarice knows no bounds.

He's one of the most odious people living in this country and I certainly wouldn't put anything past him.

But we need to take stock and not start believing everything we see written on social media and then reported in the press. There are a lot of trolls out there who feed off times like this, plus we all know that it isn't beyond the realms of possibility that nation states like Russia will use social media to create civil unrest in countries.

If we start believing everything we see and read, there's a real danger of mob mentality taking over and that's the very last thing our emergency services need right now.

Yes I heard this am on the radio - China were this deadly virus broke out is going to return to normal in just 6 days not much quarantine in the days our experts are advocating of quarantine?

So anybody with a new business is screwed then. And those whose businesses which have already died since filing would get money for nothing.
I did say for starters and it would sort out a lot of self employed and small businesses obviously new start ups would need looking at if failed businesses made a claim surely that would be against the law.

Much the same here, people out walking or with their dogs, lone cyclists and joggers and everyone keeping their distance.

I took the dog out at 8 this morning and it was like it was 4am, it was that quiet.
