The global community needs to unite in forcing them shut down of the disgusting " wet markets " and animal markets forever, regardless of the cries of " it`s part of our culture ".

Second time in two decades that a pandemic has originated from the way they keep and eat animals.

It`s truly terrifying to think what could happen if there was a third pandemic.

It's not even that that's the main issue - It's the fact that they knew this virus was out there and neglected to tell anybody - For fear of making themselves look bad

If there is a second wave in China, it should be immediately isolated from the rest of the world. No flights allowed to land anywhere.
I think mandatory 7 or 14 day quarantine of all travelers around the world will probably be needed, especially if there are 2nd waves. A person flying from New York is sadly more likely to be infectious than one from China atm.

It isn't just that though - diseases originate there no more frequently than they do anywhere else, but because the population is so huge and the country exports so much (and has done throughout history) any disease that starts near there is much more likely to get a foothold in a population and then be fired around the world.

This notion that we can outsource manufacturing over there and then reap the profits needs to be changed.

Why civilian air transport (except repatriations) should still be allowed in that event is a complete mystery.

The conditions and quantity of animals they keep and lack of basic hygiene, plays a very big part in that too.

Some of the stuff I’ve read and seen is beyond horrific. That’s got nothing to do with the size of the population.

The world is reaping what they sowed.
