I could get on board with what you say if come 10-15 years down the line we've eradicated the rare adverse reactions in these jabs and know a lot more about them/the new MRNA technology but its too early in their development to be forcing it on people imo.

Personally I couldn't care less if my GP isnt jabbed.
My friend, you should stop driving cars, riding trains or travelling by plane. Because those things aren't 100 percent safe either and they won't be in ten years.

The blood clotting thing: if you get COVID,chances of blood clotting is 27 times higher than when you're vaccinated...

Trust the professionals.

Same for me, also.

Why would it matter? Would a person be safer being treated by someone vaccinated than by someone unvaccinated?

Same you're either infected or you aint having the jab doesn't stop you catching or spreading it.

I would feel more secure knowing my GP/surgeon/consultant tested negative on a lateral flow that morning rather than their vaccination status.

Nor me, we can only speak to her by bleeding phone…..

Problem with slippery slope arguments is you can apply them to almost anything.
...But I can definitely imagine a scenario where mandatory vaxxes would be justified, something like a combination of a really transmissible virus, which was badly lethal across all groups, and a very large vax-hesitant population. Difficult balance to strike
Always is on a slippery slope

It's not for your own good. It's for the good of all, literally the entire world.
Cherry picking potential out of context quotes not withstanding...I do it my self...and as somebody who has been triple vaxxed and vaxxed with everything from Polio, smallpox, that many times due to work in hospitals and overseas, I can't remember them all - I agree with you, but the closet Liberterian in me doesn't like the general...nanny knows best...type government.

One 'Wrong' as seen from my, or an anti vaxxers point of view + one 'Wrong' from the government's 'The greater good of all' (Control via medical apartheid?) point of view might = some sort of expedient 'right'

I still tend to cancel both sides of the above equation down to its core.
2 'wrongs' don't make a 'right'.

I understand that usually governments know when to stop going too far down these sort of roads.
But which comes first?
Which leads to which?
The Greater Good, The road to hell being paved with good intentions or The Slippery Slope.

if the 5% want to act silly it doesn't bother me.
Governments must try not to over govern
I've done all I can to protect me (and so have the vast majority of others.) I've stacked the odds as best I can in my favour, so I'll let the bet ride.

3 things might happen to them (the so called 5%)
1) Nothing
2) They get sick and recover...(so could I despite all)
3) They get sick and die...sad for the individuals family, no man is an Island etc.

There is an alternative - Faites vos jeux.
They chose to not use it - Rein na vs plus.

Bit of a rant/ramble there, soz
