Well I don’t care as much about what other people think in their heads as you do, evidently, so yes. Who are you to say these people don’t do a good job? My priority is the NHS itself and not cutting our noses off to spite our face because people think differently to us.

Deaths in the UK are averaging about 260 per day, so roughly one plane crash per day.

I’ve started to notice that when daily death figures are announced on the news they add the caveat that not all deaths will be from Covid, any idea why they do this now and not 12 months or so ago when they were announcing daily deaths.

I don't think there is any question of mandating vaccines for the general public, but asking healthcare workers to believe in medical science seems a fairly basic step to me. My wife has colleagues who as part of their work should be promoting things like the MMR vaccine, which has saved millions of lives, and yet they don't believe vaccines are either safe or effective enough to take themselves. You don't think that's a problem?

It's like hiring a football manager who once called your club "small" and thinking it will end well.

But they’re not saying “vaccines aren’t safe or effective”, they just haven’t personally got the coronavirus vaccine? How do you know they haven’t been vaccinated against other things? If they were highly anti-vax then I doubt very much they’d be in that field of work, as they’d believe in their heads, stupidly, that they’re effectively murdering people. They could have all sorts of reasons for not getting the Covid vaccine, you don’t know their individual thoughts and feelings.

Well I could give you lots but you wouldn’t accept any of them so I won’t bother. We’re clearly never ever going to agree on this subject. I don’t believe in the iron fist of the government programming us to think the right way and clearly you do.

Its not about an iron fist, its about not believing Facebook and being a normal human being.

Not a single anti-vax wasterman could give a valid reason to not getting vaxed.

Its like the whole world is on fire and a few people refuse to douse themselves in water cos they dont wanna get wet.

I don’t hold such extreme and simplistic views of my fellow human beings so I won’t engage in a debate here, but you will get a lot of likes on that post sadly.

I’ve given my own personal reasons in this thread before so I’m not doing it again. But I am not going to speak for the health workers, only they know their own reasons.

You can appreciate my frustration then. I mean we have studies like the one below, which cite not only a lack of confidence in the safety and efficacy of the vaccine but also a lack of trust in those giving out the information as "the" main reason behind health staff being unvaccinated. You must surely appreciate how that is a problem?
