Covid Protestors shouting at Starmer. “What’s it like being a Freemason? You’re part of the New World Order.” References to Savile. Grim stuff.

We always are just a step behind the states. The right facilitate and encourage this sort of [Poor language removed] then are nowhere to be seen when It hits the fan.

Billions of doses of vaccines have been administered worldwide. Calling them untested and untrialled is laughable.

That is the point.

That is why people are hesitant. This is the trial. People are being asked to participate in the trial. And for their children to participate in the trial.

Other drugs produced by these same manufacturers caused serious problems for those who took them and in some cases it took years for the link to be made.

This would be a salient and relevant point, if only so many of the prominent anti-vax types didn't go around promoting or openly selling wonder-cures like hydroxychloroquine, ivermectin, collodial silver and so on; or giving medical advice they aren't qualified to give.

Like with all debates, there are stupid extreme people on both sides of the argument, I think.

The stupid, extreme people on the anti-vax side get a lot more publicity. There are a lot of reasonable people with valid concerns in the middle that do not get a lot of coverage.

Not sure that there are; they probably assume they are the reasonable ones but it’s very rare to see actual evidence of reasonableness.

I mean, if you are going to be genuinely rational (especially as an elderly or otherwise at risk person) then you are going to end up taking that vaccine - that’s where the vast majority of the evidence you have available to you should lead. If it doesn’t then someone should really re-examine the information they’ve been using because it’s almost certainly bogus.

If you are at risk or elderly as you say, yes I would agree with you, I think. For others, if you are not very old and if you are healthy, then the benefits are not as strong. For these people, it should be a choice with no consequences, I believe.

The many thousands of doctors and scientists not taking it that are reasonable and educated people.

Not really true this though. The trial was the stage 1 - 3 clinical trials which took place and were published for peer review, for each vaccine.

I get your point about long term effects etc, but saying that the rollout of the vaccine ‘is the trial’ is to ignore the actual trials that took place.

It is true also that the full safety details for many of the trials have not been released.

I can understand why people want to wait and see how it may affect others if they are normally healthy, especially for their young children.

Many people have had it and recovered from it without drugs already so a vaccine does not appeal to them.
