Are they stretched any more than usual for this time of year?
My understanding is that the "stretching" is being caused by staff absences due to adhering to COVID isolation protocols in most countries, rather than being overwhelmed with more patients than they'd normally expect to have.
The ruling means very little in the grand scheme of things, just a bit of egg on the Aussie government's face because it's been ruled they ran a red light in processing his deportation.
They'll just cancel his visa again, and with that he's essentially back to square one. The tournament starts in less than a week, he can't have another few days holded up in a hotel not training. He'll realise it's a fight he won't win and just decide to sod off back to his looney country, milk the being a martyr for the selfish and moronic for all it's worth.
He's not just a thick sportsman, he's an absolute scumbag. Federer and Nadal will always stand way above him in terms of legacy stakes, purely for being far better human beings.

I'm confused why he is a bad human being. Is it because people think that he thinks the rules don't apply to him? Or is some other reason?
He has applied to attend a tournament, was obviously told he had permission to fly in the country before and then this has since been refused.
Seems weird that he is being shown as some kind of villain for wanting to play tennis. The rules preventing him entry do not make a lot of sense to anyone, clearly.

Hope Djokovic goes far in the tournament and the Aussie crowd shows Goodison what real booing is all about.
I think the main problem is that he is trying to say he had covid in December which would get him round to being able to play with their rules. Yet he went to multiple to things days after knowing he was positive. So he is either an absolute bell or a lair.

Looks like a completly different curve than we have seen in Europe in terms of the link to ICU and deaths. These are the NYC figures which is one of the states with the highest vaccine uptake. 27% of the population unvaccinated.

Oh I'm not saying he's not a bell - he's a total bell, and he must have had covid when he said he did, so Christ knows what he was doing at all the events. Same as the rest of the establishment, and our government, with their cavalier attitude to the rules. Make me wonder why any of us bothered...
Also, him being a tool still doesn't excuse the Oz government for their handling of the entire crapshoot or for the overly harsh restrictions and ridiculous lockdowns that they have forced upon their own people to "protect" them.
