many people are brainwashed by Governments and state run media.
if the bbc and sky say djokovic is a bad person and everyone should be vaccinated, thats what they will believe,
some will take it to extremes and threaten him.
meanwhile the elite are laughing at them behind their backs quaffing champagne at downing st garden parties.

It will be interesting to see whether we are past the final COVID lockdown now. If it was going to happen it would have happened this month.

I would be interested to see the figures from the nation's who chose to lockdown heavily for winter (Ireland/Netherlands etc) to see whether it's prevented the spread of Omicron well enough to justify the heavy handed approach.

I can't see any further restrictions now

When you look at this article and then compare it with the official announcement from the UK government, I do think it’s completely fair for people to be now questioning the vaccination plans that some countries seem to be adopting in line with the relationship the governments have with “Big Pharma”

Now that Covid is nothing more than just a cold, according to the Tories, can we close this thread.

Just move on and live with it… if you don’t die of it first of course.

Let's see who takes over as PM if it comes to that. Currently you'd imagine plan B won't be renewed and even the emergency powers will expire in March

But we've been close before so I'll believe it when I see it. A lot can happen between now and March

Are you thinking we should have some permanent restrictions of some kind in place?

Restrictions no, but we need to have much better detection and surveillance as to what diseases are in circulation and where. If something new does emerge, the earlier we know about it the better.

This will allow much quicker assessment of whether something poses a risk and if restrictions end up being needed will allow them to be brought in quickly enough to be effective (and limited).

He's still got years left though hasn't he unfortunately. You would hope that COVID isn't a huge issue in 2024.
