I really don't understand what is so controversial or hard to grasp. We've had annual flu "booster jabs" for yonks and it's required because flu typically mutates on an annual basis. I reckon I must be up to my 10th "booster" of the flu vaccine by now. The Covid virus is mutating much faster as there are more cases (due in part to the number of unvaccinated people, especially globally), and so should this continue to happen then it seems inevitable that there will be more "boosters" as we try and keep up.Oh come on mate we know how the rodeo goes:
First its mulling, pondering, considering, weighing up (like Everton in the transfer market) a 3rd/4th/5th booster shot for the most vulnerable/elderly - said cohort gets jab - media/scientists announce how utterly amazing antibodies are produced and then said shot gets offered to over 50's then over 40's etc. and its never ending trying to battle "case numbers".
I dont have a problem with the elderly/most vulnerable getting annual jabs if needed its the constant BS the media churn out that if a 21 year old doesn't get his booster he's as good as being unvaccinated and will be dead within 12 months that winds me up.
Particularly when as I shown earlier the jabs are not without risk themselves therefore shouldn't be given out like skittles to anyone and everyone so frequently unless absolutely necessary.
"Would you like this year's flu jab sir?"
"No madam, I had it in 1997, that's good enough for me"
"But sir, flu has evolved since then so your vaccine from then won't really help you now"
"STOP TRYING TO PUT ME IN A CAMP ALONGSIDE THE FATTIES YOU NAZI!!!!!!!!"
