Its people puffing their chests out after 2 days in doors you'll start to notice less and less folk come out with this the longer they are stuck indoors and reality hits them as you say I couldn't imagine anything much worse.

Thankfully I still have to go out for work but in my spare time outside of Everton I do largely BJJ (which is currently a non starter) therefore its only fishing I have left as a hobby so I'll be gutted if I can't even do that.

Its also tough on my missus as she works from home but has the little lad whos a nightmare at the best of times and our dog is a high energy breed who simply gets destructive if bored/not adequately exercised (which isnt a quick 10 minute walk around the block) therefore having access to the outdoors is essential for us really if anything just for a mental release and to keep cabin fever at bay.

Yep. And i'm sure you're not - and I am definitely not - advocating being an idiot and going where thousands of others are.

People (probably just a loud minority) seem to be having a go at people for literally leaving the house.

You can't just stay indoors forever. People need to get out. Like I said, I feel so much for the 1.5m who were basically put under house arrest today (I know for their own good).

Have nothing wrong with people saying going en masse to a park is stupid and counter-productive. But people are still allowed out and rightly so. Just have to be sensible and do it at the right time and in the right place.

I'm lucky in that I know every time I go on a run or walk this week I can reasonably expect not to see a soul if I choose to go certain routes. Not everyone has that luxury but doesn't mean they can't go on a run or a walk or bike ride etc.

People need to stop doing it in groups, though. 2-3, okay, but I saw a bike club today. I get it's nice but just have some common sense and courtesy.

That’s disgraceful Tommy, you could build something with a decent piece of wood, use an electric cattle prod instead....
I had to improvise and use what I had in the van rather than buy stuff I dont really need ye bad tory monster. Bet you've got abaar 80 packs of bog rolls jammed in the back of your Range Rover you absolute horror

No mate, but I did buy an additional pack when ordering them for the pub, a bit large though....

odd that - you'd think they would be able to keep the delivery business running, unless they have been told they won't be able to get ingredients

I doubt there's space in the cooking, food prep or workstation areas for staff to keep 2m or whatever away from each other. Or there may be that many staff knocking off that it's becoming impossible to keep up with demand.

Just a thought but as the spreading of the virus becomes more understood are some companies getting a bit scared that in the wake of it they'll be open to legal action. There's a legal obligation to the well being of employees and if a company can't ensure the correct amount of space or conditions needed to work in these circumstances as those needs are made clear then they might be worried about being pulled on it down the road - especially those whose staff aren't "key" workers.

Looks like it will be busy at Greggs and KFC this week....

Their delivery service relies on outsiders, or couriers, of which they have no control over.

And imagine how busy they would be if they stayed open! They would need a lot of staff in their kitchens, breaking the 2m separation rule.
