They have been ramping up testing dramatically (now testing at a high rate of population than S Korea iirc) which will account for some of the growth...but sadly not all of it as very high population density so transmission particularly easy.Holy $h1t, yeah today's number from NY has just tripled their daily report cases.
You taking the Michael? After all this I hope Northerners will start to show the Conservative government more respect. Many will still not agree with their politics and that's fine, but going round calling people out for being Tory C**** and saying Evertonians / Kopites / Scousers can only be Labour voters has to stop. The government really are doing there best for EVERYONE and I have much more faith in this current government than if Corbyn's Labour had got in. Things would be somehow even worse.
Yes. Absolutely.
What are you on about?Im already getting fed up of my FB feed everyday full of "shut it down now Boris"
I mean I think the Prime Minister and his experts know when the right time to do that is considering the peak isnt expected until May/June.
Sadly social media has now given a voice to the idiots to whip up a storm that is then picked up by the media who try create drama/whip up further angst in the population against the PM.
Sooner everyone shuts up and lets the authorities do their jobs the better.
I can understand the resistance to a full lockdown at this stage.
The only country which has completed a lockdown so far for the length required is China, and we’ve had no feedback about the impact on the general population. Italy have been doing it for less than two weeks, and it may require another 4-6.
There will be millions of people who are currently practising good social distancing who will be locked up in their homes unnecessarily through no fault of their own. If this continues for weeks it will have a huge impact on mental health.
