The CDC says, as i'm sure your aware, that IVM is still being "Evaluated" as an Anti-Viral for Covid-19.
I'm Still looking for evidence it doesn't work.

The only recommended treatment by the CDC is Remdesivir, at a cost of $2340 for a 5 day course.

You didn’t even look at the link. The table is of clinical trials of ivermectin in COVID….the exact evidence you requested.

The only reason ivermectin is still being “evaluated” is because some people won’t accept the evidence that already exists.

My take on it is that if people aren't able to take basic steps, like wearing a mask, until such point as the world is vaccinated and variants stop emerging, then slightly harsher measures are likely.

But the world will probs never be vaccinated. That's the major point for me. Your just not going to get remotely close to vaccinating the whole world. Hell I work with people who are willing to lose their jobs over it. They point blank refuse to get the vaccine, nevermind any boosters.
Then you have varients which may need their own booster, then got to get everyone around the world boosted with that, them comes the next and the next and we go on.

At some point we need to say this is enough. The cronies have made some extra money, now let's treat it like the flu, jab up once a year if you want and crack on. Or else we will be doing this forever, cause the world won't be fully vaccinated. Not a chance.

This is not what I said or even implied.

A new concerning variant is a reminder of why masks, vaccines (however many required), hand washing, limited and careful socializing are still needed. Also why we must share vaccines with the world.

Covid is rife around here now, theres been 18 positive cases in my son's glass over the last few weeks. My son got and passed it on to me and his sister and half the parents have got it as well now. I know more people get it this week than the whole pandemic so far!

My wife is a nurse and has to go into work every day fully decked out in gown, mask, gloves, the whole shabang. Not for a few minutes here and there either. Do you remember when we all stood and clapped healthcare workers for the sacrifices they were making for us? I figure the minuscule things they're asking of us to ease the load on them so that they can do all of the other amazing things we ask of them is not much of a trade to make. Sadly, many can't be arsed and continue to abuse our healthcare system.

Do you remember when we all stood and clapped healthcare workers for the sacrifices they were making for us? I figure the minuscule things they're asking of us to ease the load on them so that they can do all of the other amazing things we ask of them is not much of a trade to make.
