Knew i saw something recently on it, https://onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi/10.1002/jmv.27469

I think there are two studies being conducted on it at the moment, the atmosphere around it though seems very much like the Jury is out mate. Good these things are being explored though.

oh 100% but they should be explored - literally anything should that could help.

I think for most healthy people who get COVID, especially if they're vaccinated, it's a 4-5 day thing (even my granddad, bless him, at 82 and with cancer, but double jabbed, fought it off in 5 days).

But if there's something/some medicine that can possibly help bring that period of illness down to 2-3 days, then even that should be explored. That's all the point I'm making is. It's not to replace the vaccine, though may make it easier for people who choose not to be vaccinated, for whatever reason, and those people shouldn't be treated like some scum of the earth like people seem to want to do.

Or it might not at all, like none of the other recent variants since Delta have?

That’s a possibility, but again we’ve had several different varieties now that have caused problems.

That another one might be on the way shouldn’t be a surprise, nor should it be treated as some form of “excuse to cancel Christmas”. (Edit) There are real issues that might be caused by this, not least because of how bad our response is likely to be if it is a risk.

John Campbell isn't endorsing Ivermectin or questioning epidemiologists. If you care to watch his videos he simply reports the EVIDENCE.

By the way, there isn't any evidence to say IVM isn't an effective anti-viral and effective treatment for Covid-19. If you have it, please post it here
would be greatly interested to see it.

There also isn’t evidence to say cow dung injected into the vein isn’t an effective treatment for Covid 19.

Discussing Ivermectin as he is, will encourage people to take it. That is wrong. There is no evidence that it is an effective treatment.

Just because he doesn’t explicitly say “TAKE IVERMECTIN” does not mean his behaviour is responsible or that you could not easily take inferences from the video.

He literally shows a graph with the cases dropping and talks about Ivermectin being encouraged as a treatment shortly before the cases declined. It is extremely misleading as there’s zero evidence that it had any impact on the case numbers in the country.

There hasn't been one that has caused any real issues against the vaccines since Delta, which was in June

Yes, and there’s been several variations since the start of the pandemic (including Delta) which do cause problems. If one comes along that the vaccines are less effective against, we are going to have to be prepared for it.

We do have to be prepared for it. What preparations are you wanting?

What does it mean? Shutting things down? Stopping people going round to other people's homes again?

We have testing capacity, that needs to stay as it is. People are testing in great numbers. We have vaccine roll out sorted, unfortunately there's not much more that can be done now to convince people who aren't getting vaccinated to get vaccinated. So what's the answer?

Stopping it spreading out of control - you know, doing things like test, trace and isolate.

If we don’t do that again then you really are going to be stopped from going round people’s homes, and everything really is going to be shut down again.

That's literally what's happening though?

The UK is still testing tons. People are still getting contacted if they're classed as a close contact. If you're unvaccinated you have to isolate and if you're vaccinated you have to go and get a PCR test.
I'm sorry, where are you living that these things aren't happening?
