Haven't you got anything better to do ? lol Magnificently sterling work, and I can book in 2 days. :)
a) not really, hubby cooking dinner tonight!

b) took me less than two minutes, one a search for “jab” which came up with your parent’s second date if they need that information lol and then “second” and bingo!

c) glad my vaulting skills have been put to a healthier use for once ;) and glad you are getting boosted.

France incidence rate from tous anti covid app, data from 3days ago.
61.9 per 100k.
Indoor tennis tournament atm in Paris, (Bercy) ballboys and linespersons wearing a mask (who do running and shouting) while spectators just sit maskless enjoying the show. I just hate rich being rich and enjoying mask free life, while others who do not provide the cash keep going masked. something is wrong with the system.

I'm not au fait with the régulations concerning sports events in Paris, they vary from region to region.
I do agree that the wealthy seem to get round any regulation, eg travel, its not right.

it just isn't fair. if it's safe, should be safe for everyone. ballboys and linespersons too should not wear (if so chosen) a mask while they are doing their job. or vice versa.

Germany has 20 million more people and a much lower vaccination rate. The UK incidence level is currently 413.9. In Germany its 173.1
I'd say that the UK incident level would drop quite quickly if they ditched free tests like Germany has done. Lower the number of people being tested and you'll have less cases.. stop testing altogether and you'll have no cases and the pandemic is over!!!!!

Official release on being able to book boosters at 5 months
The latest evidence from SAGE shows that protection against symptomatic disease falls from 65%, up to three months after the second dose, to 45% six months after the second dose for the Oxford/AstraZeneca vaccine, and from 90% to 65% for the Pfizer/BioNTech vaccine. Protection against hospitalisation falls from 95% to 75% for Oxford/AstraZeneca and 99% to 90% for Pfizer/BioNTech.

Although the vaccine effectiveness against severe disease remains high, a small change can generate a major shift in hospital admissions. For example, a change from 95% to 90% protection against hospitalisation would lead to doubling of admissions in those vaccinated.

The booster programme is designed to top up this waning immunity. Early results from Pfizer show that a booster following a primary schedule of the same vaccine restores protection back up to 95.6% against symptomatic infection.

Pfizer are going to be rolling in it forever with this pill and endless vaccines. Not exactly an incentive to somehow find a vaccine that ends up being the final one...

Big profit motive in being better than other options on the market though and so far they generally appear to be doing that at least - Pfizer vaccine seems more effective than the non mRNA vaccines and their pill appears to reduce hospitalizations compared to Merck’s pill.
