Debatably, we should be radio-tagging the vaccines and then hunt down everyone without a radio tag with tranq guns, vaccinate them and radio tag them.

I am guessing that you and @RAFUH are on the list of people that could get behind that plan.

If were going to hunt down and tranq folks, I'd rather then put them through a cult recovery program and then some basic science courses.

This. I don't understand people who refuse to get one. Luckily there has been a huge uptake in Ireland but god knows what they do now in somewhere like the US where vaccine scepticism is so high

Not surprising that Missouri and Arkansas are turning into the epicenter for cases (based on population not actual case #)

Freedom Day - ha ha! My lad aged 28 and generally fit as a flea, had Covid very early last year, suffered with his lungs and breathing until about 4 months ago! Has had his two jabs this year, second one about two months ago!
Started last Thursday to feel a bit stuffed up, cough etc - so did two lateral flow tests, both positive! Then went for a PCR and got the result back Saturday - positive, so he’s got it again!
Now in isolation again for 10 days, and for the first time has lost his senses of smell and taste. He’s stuck to the rules, masks, distancing etc, and then boom!
This things not going away lads and lasses - as they say in all the best American Cop shows - “Be careful out there”!

Well exactly, it's sticking around.

But ultimately, learning to live with it isn't staying in a state of semi-lockdown.

Hope your lad is back to fighting fitness in no time!

Just been to Morrisons for my lunch - Probably about 70% of people wearing masks

Interestingly, the other 30% all below 40

There are signs outside saying that masks are mandatory upon entry - My heart really bleeds for that 30% with medical conditions

I went to the gym earlier and it's in a hotel.

I wore my mask. There was a wedding on but most of the guests were outside and not wearing masks - but why would they be outside.

Went inside and the staff who have all been wearing masks 12 hours a day for the past 3 months didn't have them on, but fair enough. The wedding guests inside - couldn't put a number on it - but none that I saw had masks on. The only other people who were in there were people sat in the restaurant (you have to walk past it to get to the leisure bit) but as they were sat down, I don't know whether they were wearing masks or not.

So as far as I could tell on the way through the only person wearing a mask was myself. I don't mind like, and you take it off as soon as you get into the leisure bit anyway. The staff told me it wasn't mandatory anymore but I said I'm happy to keep it on.
