My gf has been having some side effects from the first AZ. She asked her GP if she could get a Pfizer second jab and got told know a few times.

She gave up and went to get her second AZ today, the nurse asked how she felt after the first and now the nurse has told her to get a Pfizer jab tomorrow.
Mix and match with AZ first then Pfizer seems to be even better than either on their own anyway and iirc you gf is in a higher risk category as well so glad she is able to switch.

You do realise that once legal mandation of mask wearing ends, it will be in all likelihood actually illegal for any physical shop to discriminate access based on mask wearing?

What Waterstones is doing with that tweet is actually the most they can legally do. That man will have to bar the doors and never leave his home.

Fake news is ramping up, and MSM catching on.

Of course that's why health and social staff are doing several lateral tests a week because they are not very good as they have a very narrow window of being near accurate. And anyone one in their right mind wont be going out and about showing any symptoms listed.

There must be a worry we are going to get some shocking case numbers between now and Monday. I'm sure the government would be more at ease getting rid of restrictions when cases aren't rocketing but there's no going back now.

They seem to think the NHS will cope with 100,000 infections per day but there's no guarantee that will be the peak if the virus is left unchecked.

It won’t be. Shops can already ask people to leave for a wide variety of things, with only a small number of protected things they can’t exclude people for.

F1 this weekend. 150,000 with no masks, no doubt a good percentage of them millionaires from abroad who will pay the fine for not isolating like its a parking fine. Those people in Ibiza have to isolate though obviously as its safety first.

Two tier society now. Quite clear that the rich can still travel and do whatever they please whilst the poor get poorer and are arguing amongst themselves about masks in supermarkets.
