Went out last night for the first time since before Christmas for a pint and some food

Was nice to be a part of a crowd again. Weird, but nice. Wasn’t like that before Christmas, was much busier this time around. Much much busier.

Now, was town perfect? Absolutely not. Plenty of folks still without masks, not distancing, but also Gave you the feeling that we’re getting somewhere finally
MURDERER

Pretty sure the schools went back last week. They did down/up here.
Yeah. I've lost a week of my life somewhere along the way. lol

The test numbers have dropped off a bit from pre Easter numbers so maybe some schools are still testing and some aren't.

COVID: EU 'confident' of herd immunity by summer

The European Commission says its coronavirus vaccine drive is now on course to secure 70% inoculation of the EU's adult population by mid-July.

The European Union's vaccine task force chief on Sunday said the bloc would be able to produce enough vaccines to achieve herd immunity of the EU's adult population by the middle of July.

"We are confident that we will be able to produce a sufficient number of vaccines to achieve the goal of collective immunity, which means that 70% of the adult population would have been vaccinated by mid-July," European Internal Market Commissioner Thierry Breton said.

The commissioner made the comments in an interview with the Greek weekly newspaper To Vima.

Enough doses to meet target

Breton wrote on Twitter that the bloc "will have the doses needed to fulfill the EU Vaccines Task Force target."

Poor @davek

His battle looks lost.
Hold on, you were telling me on Friday that you didn't believe in herd immunity.

ROFL.

Was Thierry Breton he took over as the EU vaccine Tsar last month, he’s doing great in terms of sorting supply, EU are gone into Turbo boost. We hit 25% first doses on Friday from about 10% a few weeks ago, we’ve 10% fully vaccinated.

Believe that massive deal with Pfizer is being signed in a couple of days. 900 mill doses a year up to the end of 2023.

Really believe though all the EU countries should send 10% of their doses to India though and anything else they can supply wise to help manage there.
