But didn't the presence of 3000 Madrid fans in a 50000 crowd in the open air cause the start of the serious epidemic in Liverpool last year.
Also the Cheltenham meeting caused spread of the desease later in Ireland.

Virus was more stronger at the time and still in its infancy. It hasn’t had much outdoor transmission for a while now.

Both of these events have a lot of indoor parts too. All of the bars and the Madrid fans would have been staying at hotels and on public transport etc. Don't get me wrong some people will be catching covid every time these protests happen but 1 outdoor protest is never going to cause a lockdown.

I think in this case "hands of our children" means don't try and rescue the children we have hidden in our cellars.
