It’s not that they may die, but that they continue to spread it. So no holidays for them and no going the pub....

They won’t spread it to the vulnerable if they have already been vaccinated.

So why make themselves vulnerable?

There are many alternatives to the contraceptive pill and choosing to take it is entirely up to the individual. It's also not new, there is decades worth of information about it. There are also no threats to your freedom being made if you choose not to take it, and no pressure to take it from what feels like the majority of the country.

It's just a very different issue.

Many - particularly under 30s - will also jib the vaccine because their takeaway will be the risk of blood clotting is greater than the risk of Covid.

There's a decent article on the sky website on this. It shows the risk levels for the different age groups for both covid and the AZ vaccine. It shows comparisons for 3 different infection levels of covid. Low (approx to UK infection rate in March this year), Medium (approx to UK infection rats in Feb) and High (UK infection rates in Jan)

At the low infection rates, the risk factor is slightly higher for the AZ vaccine in 18-29 yos than it is for covid. For all the other age groups, and in all the other infection levels, the risk from covid is much higher. The graphs explain it quite well if somebody wants o link the article from Sky News web site.
