Showing empathy, I stated "millions, and rightly so"....in order to underline that your wife wasn't alone in her concerns and that she was being rational.

That's the issue Dave. She isn't being rational. There's absolutely no reason why she should be worried. The AZ vaccine is perfectly safe for her. We've had enough conversations on this for you to know where I stand.

Not for me.

I've got a wife who's worried sick about taking a second vaccine, and there's absolutely no reason why she should be. She wasn't worried before but now she is and I know it's going to play on her mind right up until she get's her second dose and there's nothing I can do about it It's just the way she is. Worst case scenario is she has a panic attack when the day arrives. It's happened before.

And Dave pipes up with "she should be worried" or words to that effect. Cheers mate.

There are many alternatives to the contraceptive pill and choosing to take it is entirely up to the individual. It's also not new, there is decades worth of information about it. There are also no threats to your freedom being made if you choose not to take it, and no pressure to take it from what feels like the majority of the country.

It's just a very different issue.

I see, my wife just totally refused her vaccine, that's how worried she is, but anyway.

My wife is 60. She isn't in the risk category.

I suspect yours is a lot younger but still, the risk of not taking it is much higher than having it. When did she refuse it and how do you feel about her refusing it?

Shes 36, she has had a few issues with the pill over the years, which have clearly bothered her.

Im not happy about her refusing, but I'm not gonna nag her about it or nothing, its her choice, I had the same thing with my daughter, wasn't happy about it, but its their choice. My daughter had hers in the end, I haven't mentioned it to the wife again.

As above, I'm painfully aware of what issues come with the pill.

I mean maybe painfully is the wrong word, but my wifes suffering is my suffering and she has had many issues over the years due to it.

Can you not explain the risk of catching covid is greater than the jab?
