Well, he did say officially.
If he can’t provide actual evidence to support that claim then I think a serious line has been crossed.
Well he definitely can't prove it as the report is that 7 people have died with cerebral blood clots after having also had the AZ vaccine. There is currently no proof that these deaths were caused by the vaccine so in no way can he use the phrase "killed (officially)" at this moment in time. If they have been officially killed then anyone that has died for any reason after having had the AZ (or Pfizer, or Moderna etc.) have been officially killed by a vaccine.
It is good that actual medical experts are looking into this to see if there is any link that can be covered off going forward. But the numbers so far (if eventually proven to be caused by the vaccine) are so low (1 death in every 2.5 million doses) that the benefits far outweigh the risks. For example, if 2.5 million 40 year olds caught covid, then around 2,500 would die. If it was 60 year olds it would be around 50,000. I know which game of Russian Roulette I would be playing.
The regulator confirms the deaths to the BBC, but says the benefits continue to outweigh any risk.
