But but but it's every country...Vietnam: population 94 million; Covid19 deaths - 35.
Incredible.
Achieved through mass testing and tracing and strict quarantining, which has kept its cases to just 2,617.
No wonder they kicked Uncle Sam's arse. The sheer discipline of these people.

Yet more fear mongering from the fear mongering news broadcasters.
We're on a one way track to reopening baby, the Daves of this world will be crying in their bedsits whilst we're all down the pub having fun.
The solution is don't travel, surely?I see Bangladesh, Pakistan, the Philippines and Kenya have been added to the red list countries - adding the first three is going to cause a lot of extra expense for people who probably won't be able to afford it. One would hope they'd have come up with an alternative to the £1500 a person stay at an airside hotel by now.
The media are willing for more twists and turns and for this to go on.
They have had a field day with Brexit, Trump and covid and don't want it to end.
Could tell some bad news was coming as "Oxford Astrazenica" vaccine was being dropped for the more ambiguous Anglo -Swede vaccine, get that forin narrative going, innit.Might put a few minds at ease:

AstraZeneca vaccine: is it safe and does it cause blood clots?
The rollout of the COVID-19 vaccine in the UK has undoubtedly been a huge success. Globally, this vaccine has been rolled out more quickly than any vaccine in history. But among all the good news, several European countries have suspended their rollout after reports of blood clots among people...patient.info
I like the bit were the fact that we "found" more clots hasn't even made the news, bar a few places here and there.Could tell some bad news was coming as "Oxford Astrazenica" vaccine was being dropped for the more ambiguous Anglo -Swede vaccine, get that forin narrative going, innit.

Their obesity rate is about 2% whilst ours is about 28%.
I'm not disagreeing with your point by the way. It's just that there are many factors where covid is concerned and we have an older less healthy (in terms of weight) population.

It's every country, police in Belgium used water cannons, batons and tear gas to disperse a crowd in a park Belgium yesterday, it wasn't even a protest there was no violence until the police showed up, only 1 group showed up prepared for violence and it wasn't the crowd out enjoying the sun.
The world is gone completely crazy, in ireland there is less than 300 in hospital with covid, yes we are under level 5 lockdown the highest level until at least mid May when it will be reviewed. Governments world wide have lost the run of themselves the WHO said last year that lockdown should not be the primary way to fight Covid yet that's what we've done in Ireland level 5 since October with 3 weeks off over Christmas.
The consequences of lockdown are going to be multiples worse than anything covid would do.. my son is 5 and hes developed a stammer, we've rang a few speech and language therapists but they are all booked up with children mainly stammering since the start of covid restrictions, is this now going to be life long for him? I know a stammer is not the end of the world and there's children out there with far far worse things to deal with but he's my son and I'm worried about him.
