Up to the first week of this month, Astrazeneca reported 35 cases of thrombocytopenia in the UK linked to the vaccine. So 35 reports of clotting issues out of 54,000 suspected incidence of a host of various side effects from circa 10 million vaccinations administered here.

For balance, Pfizer has 22 reports of thrombocytopenia from a range of 33,000 reports of various side effects from roughly the same number of vaccinations.

This being the publicly available information, we can say that at this point the data indicates that the clotting disorder is comparable in both vaccines.

Get the cannons and rubber bullets out.
They were German and therefore too EU. The early days of Boris Johnson incompetence seemed so small, he only wasted £300,000 on them.

Whitty and the other one only said last week Black lives matter protests had little impact on the spike of infections, cant see how this will be different. Retrospective sack for that expert.

Still some problems in parts of the Northwest.

Is there a link to vaccine uptake in those areas, and also a link to those being largely ethnic minority areas?

It's a real issue which people seem scared to talk about. The uptake - especially in the Asian population in certain areas - has to be better.

Just a thought, obviously don't know for certain.
