Didn’t know they were doing that in schools, very clever.

The majority of our cases are from 12-39 and mostly in the young adult cohort, we could do following the UKs lead here.

It's crap for kids/teachers/parents who are having to isolate like but it's happening and it's so far working - in the sense of how the 'test and trace' ever 'worked'.

We'll find out in a week or so if cases really are spiking.

I dont think taking paracetemol before or after is a good idea from what I heard. Best ride out the discomfort and get the full whack of whatever anti-bodies it stimulates.

So I read, anyway.
They tell you when you get it that Paracetamol is fine to take if you start experiencing headaches it’s all in the pamphlet they give you with your booking card

I’ve just been looking at the stats for mainland Europe, they are not good. Generally the number of cases are all going up, Germany have twice the weekly cases of the U.K. , France and Italy, again on an upward trend have four times our weekly numbers each...I would be right pissed off to be living over there and having the government playing silly buggers with the AZ vaccine, but then again their populations have been ‘prepared’ so may not know any better......

The important stats are the fatality rates. How is that moving?

Dont forget, they are reeling from the (now prevalent there) United Kingdom virus.

The reason you have a fever is because the immune system operates better at a higher temperature. The body increases it's temperature so it can respond to the vaccine\virus more efficiently.

Through suppressing the fever you're actually inhibiting the bodies ability to create a strong immune response. Not all doctors believe in fighting the symptoms of a fever in certain situations. With regards to the vaccine what @davek is saying makes sense.

Not all doctors believe using paracetamol is a good idea while getting symptoms from the vaccine.

The fatalities tend to follow the case rates after a few weeks. In absolute numbers, Germany is doing about 50% more than U.K., France about twice the U.K. rate and Italy a bit more again.

The virus is the virus, of whatever name, it’s the dealing with it that counts. It may still bite us on the arse again, but I’d rather be here than in any of those three countries at the moment.....

The UK has the third highest fatality rate in that basket of countries I posted the graph on. With the vaccines in the arms of a third of the UK population.

I‘m just quoting the latest weekly average numbers, France is nearly double and Italy about x2.3........and they are going up, ours are coming down....

Might be time to export some vaccines mate.
