Had my first jab yesterday. No problems with any side effects. Apart from being greeted with a thunderous hailstorm when we arrived at the vaccination site it all went pretty smoothly and quickly.
Went to a mass vaccination site at a building that holds agricultural shows in normal times. So it's used to herding animals in and out

.
We went through 2 checkpoints outside (where we were told to put our masks on even though we were still inside our car. They checked to ensure we were booked in. Inside gave our details, were then interviewed by a nurse to check certain medical details, and then went onto another nurse who gave the jab which literally took no more than a second. We were given leaflets to explain some side effects we may experience, and asked to remain in our car for 15 minutes before driving away just in case either of us had a serious reaction.
The whole process, from arriving at the site to being back in our car took less than 10 minutes. I did not stand or sit in 1 queue along the way, social distancing and mask wearing was adhered to strictly throughout, and everybody we dealt with was friendly and welcoming.
I haven't spoken to anybody who has had a bad experience going for the jab, apart from some who had mild reactions, such as sore arm or slight flu like symptoms. I really don't understand why anybody would refuse to go through this or, even worse, would try to stop other people going through it, especially as it is so important to saving lives.
