5 minutes, everywhere, in and out for the AZ jab?For the AZ one, yeah. The other one you have to be observed for 15 minutes.

Possibly, but the ones being done at the civic center here seem to have gone smoothly and people are speaking highly of it. I can't speak for your area personally as I have no idea where you live but I am yet to hear anything negative from anywhere. Those mega sites WILL be efficient.
It's the smaller non-NHS venues Ilm concerned with. I get the impression from the related experience of others that its nowhere near what it ought to be.

Thats the idea, yeah.
I am sure that some have been a few minutes longer though. Elderly frail folk would need some assistance for example.
There is a risk that has been run, a calculated one which so far has paid off - for the benefit of a lot of people.
That's my point.
Feedback Ilm getting on the AZ jab: average 30 minute process, in and out.
Maybe they're lying?
When are these events likely to have occured? Immediately after the vaccination or hours or days or weeks?
For some socially distancing has been an issue - for others it's waiting times. All packed into a poorly ventilated room?
Thanks. That makes sense. From the data i looked at 4 events came in the days after the AZ jab, directly linked from the concerning batch. The batch in question had 1 mill doses, sent to 17 EU countries.
The rest of the data i looked at it didn't give specifics on time frame post vaccination.
Its something to keep an eye on but i wouldn't over panic, 22 cases of a thromboembolic event isnt above the mean in any general population cohort anyway, vaccine or no to be honest. To be fair i think you also have to factor in that most EU countries are getting through their most vulnerable categories at the moment so likely they have underlying health conditions that may have made them vulnerable to a thromboembolic event anyway. I think the concern is the age of the nurse who died, 49 so really worthwhile to keep an eye on and review, but it wouldn't stop me taking AZ if I was offered it at the moment.
My understanding is Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania and Luxembourg have stopped dosing from the concerning batch as opposed to not dosing AZ at all, Denmark i think have suspended AZ entirely at the moment, but im open to correction on that as i looked at last night and it might have changed since then.

I asked a question on people's experiences of (especially) non-NHS run vaccination sites.
It seems a relevany=t question to ask given there's been 25 million vaccinated in a short period of time. Itls unlike any vaccination before because of the fear of transmission.
My correction: 'non-NHS sites'.There are not any non-NHS run sites.
There are plenty of non-NHS owned locations being used; just like every single year for the flu jabs.
Thanks. That makes sense.
These are reported cases however. Who knows. At the very least it should be noted as a potential side effect of the vaccine.
My correction: 'non-NHS sites'.
Ahhh so this is all just been a political point scoring exercise Dave? you do surprise me!No, you must answer the question: why do you support a Tory Government at every turn - a government that's overseen a catastrophe of biblical proportions on this island and why do you continue to endorse their policies?
Me and the wife went to Broadgreen hospital last week, in and out took well over and hour, SD none existent not great. For those who've had the jab, what are people's experience of the vaccination sites (conditions / efficiency). Heard a few horror stories, especially in places adapted to roll out the vaccine as opposed to the NHS sites:
