Your tory heroes indeed the kind of people who have no problem in sending people to wars as cannon fodder and now are complicit in murder of the oild , the sick , and the disabled , and the ethnics , like i say utter filth

Where does the money come from ? Simple question......Although being a socialist I expect you’ll say taxation......

Any kind of answer yet as to where the money for the NHS comes from.....

The NHS has not been built by socialism. It has been built by wealth creators and good businesses generating money to be plowed into it. You do however seem to agree with me that the NHS has delivered over 16.5 million doses, four times more than any European country. I’m glad you mentioned the British Army as well, because they and and thousands of volunteers have all made this work. Perhaps a bit of chest beating is actually deserved. You might want to have a word with your fellow socialist.....

this is some rare take this

The ratio of 15,000,000 single jabs administered as opposed to 500,000 double doses - does that trouble anyone else or make them concerned the best policy would now be to get a second jab quickly to all of the most vulnerable?

The breast beating over that first number is all wrong, IMO.

It’s a really good point mate, i hope you don’t mind if I expand on it, because it actually throws a different lense and perhaps a moral dilemma as a society on the vaccine roll out. I know there is a bit of bluster about some European countries not using AZ on over 65s and true the data isn’t there yet.

But I think another factor is giving the over 65s and the most vulnerable the MRNAs mean they are fully protected in the shortest time possible, I.e. two doses in three weeks in most European countries. Hopefully it means those most vulnerable will be protected quicker and fully by two doses.

In reality maybe we should be looking at how best we are looking after and protecting those most at risk rather then whole populations or accumulation.

I suppose perhaps it’s a moral or maybe philosophical question, protect those most at risk Vs the greatest number. You could argue either really.

That comes down to the priority of the government: we constantly have the health v wealth argument shoved down our throats, and economic interests have won the day.

The jab schedule follows on from those priorities: more will be rolled out to more people and those in work because the name of the game for the Tories is to get the economy up and running asap. The Orwellian sounding Covid Recovery Group is the spearhead of that. They even calibrate opening up of sectors by number of jabs done. Giving the most vulnerable the full vaccine as per the original plan is now not on the agenda. It's a secondary consideration. This disgusting thinking is how we ended up with nearly 120,000 dead in the UK.

From one of the lead developers of the vaccine:

Some interesting early data coming out of Ireland on our vaccine roll out.

So far we double dosed the majority of our front line health care workers and those is residential care, some are single dosed waiting their second within the three week window and still rolling out.

Our case numbers have gone from 15% incidence to 5% among health workers.

From 6% to 2% in over 85s, with vaccinating long term residential care alone.

From one of the lead developers of the vaccine:

It's scandalous what these barbarians are getting away with in this country. Nowhere in the world has a vaccine schedule like this. But the drones will repeat their "it's ok, they told us 12 weeks will make it stronger' BS line.

They've killed near 120,000 of us already and they wont blink an eye if they double that and then some.

...bit I'm the one who's mad for calling them murderers.

Had my first jab of gnats piss before at the Sint Ellen’s rugby ground.

Very well organised, everyone very friendly, in and out in five mins and the email for my second jab, had come through before I even got back to the car.

Faultless.
What did you need to do going in mate? Did they send something to show the day before? Getting mine on Sunday at the Pit but not sure how it works

From one of the lead developers of the vaccine:

Conversely, the evidence that it's worked is that there is so far no evidence that it hasn't worked.

And hang on, why are they suddenly saying 6 weeks??

Up until now, it's been 3 weeks. Or is it just because Denmark and France went with 6 weeks, so that's alright?

I think they took a risk. I'm not sure I agree with it, but I see why they did it. So far, despite all the outcry (which has now changed from 3 weeks to 6 weeks - and Pfizer all along insisted that it had to be 3 weeks btw, until now apparently), there's no evidence of it not working. If there is, then we'll know about it and they can all say 'I told you so' and it'll be crap. But as it is, that hasn't happened.
