yeah sure built by the likes of thatcher and her scum , i think not
Your tory heroes indeed the kind of people who have no problem in sending people to wars as cannon fodder and now are complicit in murder of the oild , the sick , and the disabled , and the ethnics , like i say utter filth
Where does the money come from ? Simple question......Although being a socialist I expect you’ll say taxation......
No way the thread can go back to discussing Covid rather than the Tory government?
The NHS has not been built by socialism. It has been built by wealth creators and good businesses generating money to be plowed into it. You do however seem to agree with me that the NHS has delivered over 16.5 million doses, four times more than any European country. I’m glad you mentioned the British Army as well, because they and and thousands of volunteers have all made this work. Perhaps a bit of chest beating is actually deserved. You might want to have a word with your fellow socialist.....
The ratio of 15,000,000 single jabs administered as opposed to 500,000 double doses - does that trouble anyone else or make them concerned the best policy would now be to get a second jab quickly to all of the most vulnerable?
The breast beating over that first number is all wrong, IMO.
That comes down to the priority of the government: we constantly have the health v wealth argument shoved down our throats, and economic interests have won the day. It’s a really good point mate, I know there is a bit of bluster about some European countries not using AZ on over 65s and true the data isn’t there yet.
But I think another factor is giving the over 65s and the most vulnerable the MRNAs mean they are fully protected in the shortest time possible, I.e. two doses in three weeks in most European countries. Hopefully it means those most vulnerable will be protected quicker and fully by two doses.
In reality maybe we should be looking at how best we are looking after and protecting those most at risk rather then who,e population or accumulation.
I suppose perhaps it’s a moral or maybe philosophical question, protect those most at risk Vs the greatest number. You could argue either really.

The jab schedule follows on from those priorities: more will be rolled out to more people and those in work because the name of the game for the Tories is to get the economy up and running asap. The Orwellian sounding Covid Recovery Group is the spearhead of that. They even calibrate opening up of sectors by number of jabs done. Giving the most vulnerable the full vaccine as per the original plan is now not on the agenda. It's a secondary consideration. This disgusting thinking is how we ended up with nearly 120,000 dead in the UK.
It's scandalous what these barbarians are getting away with in this country. Nowhere in the world has a vaccine schedule like this. But the drones will repeat their "it's ok, they told us 12 weeks will make it stronger' BS line. From one of the lead developers of the vaccine:

What did you need to do going in mate? Did they send something to show the day before? Getting mine on Sunday at the Pit but not sure how it worksHad my first jab of gnats piss before at the Sint Ellen’s rugby ground.
Very well organised, everyone very friendly, in and out in five mins and the email for my second jab, had come through before I even got back to the car.
Faultless.
@anxiouswarrior is a proper thread hand grenade. This thread gets more mental by the day.
It really is a great read.
