The Defenders of the Imperialst Capitalist Establishment keep asking where does the NHS money come from , yes indeed taxation mainly from the workers millions of them on zero hours garbage , yet this money taken from the workers a lot of it has been given by the Spiv Government and handed to their Private cowboy contract firms who completely failed with the such potty schemes as track and trace and moonshot and game changers invented by a fat overweight tory who was born with a silver foot in his mouth

Can we keep this on all things Covid please. Plenty of places you can vent your spleen on here, all things tory.

Ok sorry about that will find scummy tory thread in future reference if neccessary , but please one point is that you cannot separate what the tory filth have done in relation to Covid and then absolve them and their supporters who defend them on this thread

Has this lockdown only been on for about 7 weeks? Feels like forever.

Realistically we're about half way through at best before anything reopens aren't we?

I think they'll open schools again on March 8th if they can. i don't think they should, but they probably will.

Then it'll be a tiered approach from April onwards, with - hopefully - measures released across the country by the end of May.

I don't mean crowds and things, though there may be some trials for certain events, but we'll likely not see that until later in the year.

I'm just looking forward to leaving the house without having to worry about harming people.

Why are primary school children the priority compared to secondary?

Can they not do colouring in at home?
I think the evidence points to infection being prevelant in adults (this would overlap with secondary age students).

At my school, we had very few cases confirmed in Years 7-9. Years 11-13 we had a lot more (this was back in September/October).

Also, most secondary age kids can be left to themselves to get on with things. I have a 5 year old joining 4 live online lessons each day. He cannot do that himself.

I also think that younger kids learn a lot more at lower primary age (social interaction etc). There has to be a point when they go back even if cases rise slightly. We are talking about millions of kids who have barely started their lives yet.

Fair enough - not convinced that the infections are being picked up within the school setting though - More likely that the massive gangs of teenagers I see on street corners every evening are spreading the virus

How do you stop little kids from social distancing?

If you think that 'coloring in' is what parents have to do with primary school kids you are mistaken. It takes kin ages to do all their work and is difficult to do whilst trying to do our own jobs as well.

Sorry - I was being overly blase about it

There are two sides to every coin though - Try getting a 15 year old to do work when they're left to their own devices and the school have done virtually nothing to facilitate distance learning
