I saw a statistic a week or so ago stating none of those vaccinated in Britain had been infected or gone to hospital and there was a 100% success rate.

That must still be the case, I suppose or we would have heard about it.

Earlier this year you were reporting daily infection rates of above 40,000 iirc. The figure has dropped to around 10 to 12 thousand.

Surely that is as a result of 15 million vaccinations.

I imagine it's a combination of lockdown and vaccinations

There have been mass 5 figure gathering for the funeral of Rabbi's etc, from what I've read it has not been a particularly strict nor well observed lockdown (especially the younger generation)

The police get stones thrown at them when they try to enter the Hasidic/Ultra Orthodox areas - I don't think its an age thing they just don't believe in it.

I'm pretty sure I read somewhere that they believe their faith will protect them.

Actually, Johnson is starting to sound vaguely statesmanlike. He is taking the cautious route which makes a change from his attitude a year or so ago.

Still got his latter Brexit ERG now reborn in to the Covid Recovery Group, on his back.

Perhaps his own Covid experience, although there is plenty evidence it made little impact on his or policy for some months.

More in survival mode now, Tory grass roots sphincters are a twitching, the metaphorical knives are on the sharpening stone, just a matter of timing.

I think you should deduct 12,000 from that number. As the SNP and Welsh Labour make the rules in Scotland & Wales, they should, by your reasoning, be held responsible for those 12,000 deaths........ would you agree?

I don't want to be the latest person to argue with you.....but if you are using that logic you may as well blame lots of Covid deaths in England on the Welsh and Scottish crossing the boarder to here? Can't all be one way.

Actually it can; the borders are under the control of central government, and that’s not been devolved.
