My holiday for last year was rescheduled for this August coming - if we end up going can we just return and self isolate if required to our house or would we need to go into one of those government hotels?

Daft question but haven't a clue.

Realistically nobody has a clue what’s going to happen at this point.

Personally I’m sceptical people will be going on foreign holidays this summer. And even if they do it will likely vary greatly depending on the destination.

Apparently you have to stay in a tent at the bottom of our garden. Now it’s a very nice tent and at £250 per night really is a bargain.....

If the floppy-haired spunk bubble had closed the borders when he should have we wouldn't even have to worry about Variants from other countries the utter pie shovelling bellend.

Agree on the borders like but the UK variant has shown up in Canada in people with no links to travel or travellers in six weeks and also same goes for SA variant popping up here.

Just cause it was found in one place doesn't necessarily mean it came from there. But, for what it's worth, I blame cockneys.

I'll post links to the colleges guidelines, but basically can chose ro have it if high risk or work somewhere high risk, wife has hers booked postnatally- but that's her choice, and she'll be breast feeding.. gimme a minute.
Royal College guidance
Looking good so far

Again though, and this isn't having a dig, the main priority is stopping people getting seriously ill from any strain - which these vaccines do, even with the SA strain (though to less effect so far?).

If that is achieved, then it buys time for health systems to be able to treat people and it also buys time for vaccine manufacturers to tweak the medicine.

Which is why @ForeverBlue92 's point about stopping the vaccine in some cases just seems counter-productive.

Stop people getting seriously ill - that's the priority.

Anyway, hope you're feeling better after the second dose of Pfizer, mate!
