Nurses have had all annual leave in the next 6 months cancelled, even if it had been approved.
They have also asked nurses if they are able to host other nurses at their homes to stop them taking public transport. Effectively asking nurses to illegally sublet or potentially void their home insurance.

You'd hope that instead we can get hotels, B&Bs etc near hospitals that don't have guests to provide accommodation with government compensation. Would also help stop the staff at those places being laid off.

Where my lass works so many staff off poorly but they are not testing so can’t get them back in. She just has a cough. Could be corona but really doubt it and suspect many of the others off are the same. They making a real hash of it.
My missus is a nurse mate and she hasn’t had her leave cancelled.

The armed forces will be relied on and used.
London in lockdown is going to be mental. There'll be a curfew too but there's definitely going to be riots and looting too at some stage if it goes on for long (like there might be anywhere).
And this is why I think people are being far too quick to judge with the schools thing.

Mine has. She’s a nurse in London, this is being rolled out in all London hospitals.
Guessing you may not have heard if you live in the North West. It won’t be far off.
Id get her to take some time off while she still can.
