I don't understand why we need to convince anybody to take the vaccine surely it's personal choice.
If anyone decides not to take it they go to the back of the line and give it to the next person in the queue.
Surely if I take it and my next door neighbour doesn't it's no skin of my nose
We need people to take the vaccine otherwise the hospitals will still be rammed and we get nowhere. They won't open up until hospital admissions are really low.

Can anyone tell me when this New Lockdown comes into force ?

Picked up meds for the wife yesterday and essential groceries this morning.
Car parks are full , roads busy.
Everywhere just looks normal to me.

South end of Liverpool that is.
Problem clearly is the mixed messaging from government- allowing people go to questionably non essential work on public transport, mix with workmates etc. Then a weekends/night they have to batten themselves down at home and 'act like they have symptoms' - the messages are clearly flawed.

People are tired people are confused.

There are so many more shops open this time round. From Argos to WH smiths. The only shops appeared shut are small independent like gaming or gift type, and any eat in eatery.

And even you have a garden to be out it's not going out in the garden time of year or weather.

Saying that like last weekend the car rental place was empty again like this Friday evening so they are busy.

And driving past Macs and KFC to do shopping car parks was full of walker types having a munch...

Marr - as you'd expect - let him off the hook: no questioning of his governmen't policies to let this virus rip through the population by avoiding lockdown for 3 months.
He repeatedly said 'offer/offered'. And corrected Marr when he asked if 'every adult will be vaccinated' by saying 'offered'.

Then went onto the 350m doses 'on order'.

Getting deju vu here.

I am seeing no over crowding in shops. Numbers are still being controlled, queuing to get in the butchers, (max of 2), SD/Masks in the supermarkets, and when I drove past the Lake Grounds it was not deserted, but deffo not packed.

Not as quiet as lockdown #1, but this isnt the same as that one. It should be, granted.

People grossly exaggerate how busy it is. Have been since the start of all this.

Im enjoying people being outside and fuming at other people being outside.

The dog whistles on age and Covid19 death were clear too. This is a managed catastrophe. He probably accepts Ferguson's assessment that we'll be lucky to keep this down to 100,000 deaths and that it;ll be shamefully be accepted by most people.

The pariah state of Europe.

All having a rave again...

Was last year that. Divvies.
Divvies then and there is divvies now doubt if I looked on social media local news there will be fume, about people arriving in Llanberis for Snowdon or the Breacons from all over the country. It is busier than the first lookdown and the weather is pretty poor compared to last time
Fact is much more is open to entice people out.

I just dont get the mindset of folk. Maybe I have spent too much time inside/on here and the real world is living and thinking differently.

Yeh don’t think anyone gives a toss now. Just been in the Co-Op and I’d say half the people in there didn’t have masks on (staff included), no one was following the arrows and one staff member even barged past me walking the wrong way to go to the tills. Almost said something but what’s the point. Almost a year into mask life because not everyone wants to follow simple rules.
