Yeh don’t think anyone gives a toss now. Just been in the Co-Op and I’d say half the people in there didn’t have masks on (staff included), no one was following the arrows and one staff member even barged past me walking the wrong way to go to the tills. Almost said something but what’s the point. Almost a year into mask life because not everyone wants to follow simple rules.

I know what you mean, it revs me off the clock, in addition to that the folks that cannot wait 30 seconds to get to a shelf that I am getting something off and have to lean over to grab something.

In my head I shouted at the woman and hit her with my shopping bag full of toiletries but thought best not.

It's a difficult one as you may not want the aggravation or feel comfortable in that situation, but sometimes a firm but polite comment can do wonders.

I asked a couple yesterday in a queue for the shop to back up because they were hanging off my shoulder. They did, so I felt more comfortable.

Yeh it's just if someone's not wearing a mask by now asking them to isn't gonna change them.

These two were a young professional couple. They had masks on and weren't be loutish or anything, so perhaps a polite reminder was all they needed.

Ive just been to the Co-op by mine and everyone was wearing a mask, staff included.

He was right behind me loading the belt, and immediately got angry, stepped towards me saying “what’s your problem?” I said “there’s 80,000 dead and you’re not wearing a mask” “I don’t need to wear a f’ing mask”. Really threatening attitude. Some nice people about eh? They don’t give a fk.

Sadly, you will always get idiots like this in societly and they're probably the ones likely to spread the virus more with their negligent, selfish attitudes.

Also, the majoirty of people won't have the resilience to deal with these type of people, so it's easy for people (like myself or yourself) to act.

I`m sure anyone who works in retail can recount many similar tales.

This has been going on long enough, that I now know when and which shops to avoid - Asda after 10am onwards lol
