Have seen a lot not wearing masks in shops. Is it a legal requirement or just advisory because shop staff don't look bothered.?
It is a legal requirement to wear one, but from the outset retail businesses have been told that they neither able (legally) or expect to enforce the law.

If someone says they are on exempt, well you have to take their word for them. In terms of the Police, enforcement hasn't been a priority, but it is changing.
 
Just had the second dose of the vaccine.

Am eager to get mine but I think it will be a few months yet.

Work is the biggest risk for me atm, some of my co-workers just don't seem to grasp how deadly this is, and they think they are exempt from catching it.

Supervisors stand next to each other with no masks on showing each other stuff on their phones, despite them telling staff off for being within 2 metres of each other.
 
Hospital figures - 655 deaths were announced today, down 145 on yesterday and up 187 on last Sunday. 508 deaths were in English hospitals, down 117 on yesterday and up 122 on last week. The 7 day rolling average rises to 703.57

All settings - for the 28 day cut off, 563 deaths were announced today, down 472 on yesterday and up 108 on last Sunday. The 7 day rolling average rises to an even 909

For the 60 day cut off, 584 deaths were announced today, down 548 on yesterday and up 115 on last Sunday. The 7 day rolling average rises to 995.29
