Work are telling us to stock up on food for our care homes. Sure that’s them telling us to panic buy? Not sure this is ethical?

I'd say a care home panic buying is much more raitonal than 29-year old single Wendy down the street.

@BlueToff this has just been announced by Denmark to support freelancers.

70% coverage of normal income based on income in 2019. Max monthly coverage is €3,050 before tax. Initiative is running for the next three months (possibly longer if needed). Applies if you've lost more than 30% of your income during the crisis.

The government said they'd be announcing more today so it's possible something like this will be revealed.

All schools in Wales will be closed from Friday, the Welsh government has announced. Several schools have already closed due to either suspected cases of coronavirus or because of staffing issues.
The Welsh government is the first UK administration to make the decision. School holidays were due to start on 6 April.

As my wife is a nurse and at a high risk of catching it I can’t go and see my cancer suffering 89 year old mum on Mother’s Day for crying out loud.

I haven't been allowed to visit my 93 year old Mum who is in a nursing home with dementia since 6th March. Can't disagree, but she is very confused as to why no one from the family is visiting.

Heartbreaking, but if the CV gets in there, it will wipe out most of the residents.

Mate, I’ve been told not to go into work for 12 weeks, minimum. There was absolutely no hesitation in sending me home and telling me I’m not to come into work. That could be risen to 24 weeks.

How on earth can you still be so blind to this.

Are you still being paid? Working from home?

You'd think, but the Spanish have banned people cycling outdoors. Numerous photos of people being stopped by the police.

It`s getting worse by the day, my missus has just come in and said the latest " in" thing to panic buy is shampoo, as there`s no hand gels or soap, people are stock piling it to use it as regular soap.

I`m really starting to understand why people say " f*** it all " and go and live in the wilderness.

On a lighter note.My missus is a little worried that I am in bed at 5.30pm when she comes in from work.She keeps asking me if I am ok. The fact I am having a power nap because I have had 3 or 4 afternoon pints in the house is yet to cross her mind lol
