Hospital capacity in conjunction with hospital admissions, with a focus on ICU beds, should have played a part in the decision process.

Bristol might have more capacity compared to case numbers. By should, I mean that's if it's not just written on the back of a beer mat.

Thats what I reckon it is, that and as a %, from a low base, it can look scary.

A large element of prevention before cure as well maybe. That said, we havent excelled at that have we.
 
Last time was like that and it took longer than a month. I think you also have to factor in that less compliance can be expected next time round too.

I can't see the government doing it anyway until its too late, its arguably too late already and they still want to open primary schools.
Think lockdown will happen pretty soon myself. Id go for the 1 month complete lockdown as well. Get the vaccinations going
 
It’s a difficult one because we should really be pushing for better than a 62% effective vaccine.

The UK has bought 40 million units of the Pfizer vaccine but I’m not sure when we’d receive that figure.

Why don’t we keep pressing on to get a better vaccine made here, and roll that out once it’s ready?
Another Tory BS promise.
