If true and they're being delayed in Tier 4, why don't they put a blanket closure in place because surely Tier 3 areas are like to reach Tier 4 in the near future?

Nobody wants schools closed unless it's vital, but if we reached that position in most of the country then surely a short-stop measure will help limit transmission?

Still, my wife is sceptical that any primary schools will close because there's been no real discussion about it from the DfE. Are students coming back too?
