Surely the virus will mutate slightly everywhere anyway, it probably has around other countries but they don't grass themselves up lol

It‘ll already be all over Europe. We are getting stick because we picked it up and identified it. Give it a week and the focus will be on the EU, especially as they haven’t started any vaccinations yet......

Hes amazing.

First of all he started with the 30%.

Then when he got his pants pulled down he started claiming it wasn't tested enough.

Hes an utter busted flush.

People need to get a grip...no easy thing to do I grant you given the British 24 hour media circus trying to outdo themselves with grim forecasts.

Roughly over the same period (October 2019 to the present) there has been 2,800 deaths due to coronavirus; compared to between 15,000 to 30,000 caused by the common flu. Over half a million annually die from the flu globally.

Dont let these turds spook you.

It all went badly wrong for him quite early in all this tbh.

Already confirmed in Iceland, Denmark Netherlands Italy Belgium France. But our friends in the EU put travel bans on the UK who informed WHO about the new variant. wonder why the EU countries didn't tell WHO?

in participants who received a low dose followed by a standard dose, efficacy was 90·0%
You keep saying that, and I keep telling you the numbers involved in the low-high dosage trial were too small and their demographic too narrowly focussed to make those claims of efficacy rigorous.

As I said earlier, trials are still continuing on the effects on the over 55 age group. The analysis of the results is due to be released before the end of the year.

So I think it’s a tad presumptuous to label this vaccine unsuitable for over 55’s. However this vaccine will be used alongside the Pfizer vaccine so even if the results show it’s not as effective for over 55’s then the Pfizer vaccine could be used primarily for this age group whilst the Oxford vaccine is used for younger groups.
Then that's what I originally stated about vulnerable groups needing to have another vaccine than the Oxford one.

There's a lot of laughable flag waving going on for this AstraZenica vaccine because it was made in Oxford. I have no truck with such nonsense. I comment on them being not fit for purpose because the leading medical journal of the country indicated strongly that they aren't.

The fact that AZ are looking to join forces with the Sputnik V project to improve their drug's efficacy speaks volumes.

I’m not going to be sucked into arguing your nonsense Dave, I’ve learnt my lesson on far more trivial things such as Baines being an Evertonian!

If they show up at my elderly uncle’s door tomorrow with the Oxford vaccine I would be utterly delighted.
To dismiss what I said as 'nonsense' is just ignorant. You at least should underline why you think it to be nonsense.
