I love how the breaking news on Talksport fails to mention any of that.. not like them to sensationalise non-news...
They are scummy when doing that - gives ammo for misinformation to spread online.

No history of anaphylaxis? Any IgE work done?Officially I'm allergic to lots of things. Cats, dogs, horses, dust, fish, wheat and a few other things.. literally none of them affect me in life ever. Does that mean no vaccine for me?
Its problems of storage have been over-hyped by our government who know they have to shift 100 million inferior vaccines onto the British people. The issue with the Pfizer vaccine is it’s a logistical nightmare to distribute at the pace needed to vaccinate entire countries/continents
UK population in 2011 (when the figures I offered were recorded) was about 66million. So if you vaccinate the 18m older than 55 with the Pfizer vaccine you would still be vaccinating the vast majority with the Oxford one. But the vast majority in this case aren't seriously vulnerable and are highly unlikely to get seriously ill.
You also just didn't deal with the fact that the sensible thing to do was spread the risk across a number of vaccines given when orders had to be made. You can be frustrated we aren't all going to get the Pfizer vaccine now we know it is more effective. But there was every chance the Pfizer one would have been less effective than the Oxford one when the orders were made.
There is so much actual stuff to bash this government over without getting angry about something that makes little sense.

Dont believe the BS.
I'd rather give their Sputnik vaccine a go than the hooky Oxford one - the cheap ineffective alternative. The russian vaccine is incredible but similar to their role in WW2 it will never be recognised. Russia are extremely good at medicine but the right wing media will act like the vaccine is untested and unreliable.
It's a lot more effective than the annual flu vaccine Dave.I'd rather give their Sputnik vaccine a go than the hooky Oxford one - the cheap ineffective alternative.
The problems are one of mobility and timing. From hubs with extreme cold storage into the community. There it can last 5 days in standard refrigeration.I work for a company who are selling suitable deep freezers to the government. The problems are not exaggerated.
Like all media outlets. It honestly needs to be stopped. Along with clickbait headlines..They are scummy when doing that - gives ammo for misinformation to spread online.
At least that will be an exciting, gun toting, people's innards being devoured sort of apocalypse, rather than the dull, panicking about bog roll, bored of your own house, running out of stuff on Netflix one we've just had.Every zombie apocalypse generally starts with an experimental vaccine being dished out to the unsuspecting public.
Just saying like...
It's a lot more effective than the annual flu vaccine Dave.
The Oxford half dose / full dose gives 90% and can be stored in a domestic fridge in your doctors surgery...or a 12v 60 litre portable fridge in the back of a 4x4 for use out in the sticksWe're already told though that the Oxford vaccine is going to be used in the vast majority of cases in this country. It's cheap and easy to store. They, though, are its only advantages over vaccines that are, simply put, much better at offering immunity.
I watched a CNN report also last night which cast major doubts over the testing of the Oxford vaccine. This is a major problem and WILL cause a big cleavage between the have's and have nots (those who can pay for a Pfizer/Moderna/ possibly other vaccines and those just stuck with the Oxford vaccine).
I'll stand behind the one the royal family are having .......I’ll be in the queue..... right behind @Joey66 lol
Or
I might sell my injection to the highest bidder.... if it’s good enough for Boris and co then it’s good enough for me
And you don't think that Pfizer - in the home of Big Pharma, Big $, MAGA, etc, corners weren't cut in the race to be 1stApproval is as much a political decision as a medical one. Do you think the MHRA are fully independent of government and big pharma?
Dont be naive.
