It’s all a conspiracy though, China did nothing wrong. That WHO epidemiologist is just a bad racist trump supporter.

Deary me , Cant believe anyone in their right mind would defend China's actions from the very start right up to this terrible mess we are in .

This , as most epidemic's and pandemics start from the coultural habits and practices from the far east.
They delayed warning the WHO and the rest of the world possibly thinking they could contain it.
Once it was out & spreading rapidly they sought to conform and pass information on to the rest of the world.
Far too late , there was then a virus with no known cure ripping through society.
Blame is often looked at as a finger pointing excersize , but in this case the word blame is firmly laid at the door of China.

I'm using the words of experts in the article that you furnished us with that undermine the muddle headed conclusion you drew from it.
The delay in response was not down to "authoritarian government". It was a general reluctance to shout "fire" that any stripe of government will take.
The Covid lead epidemiologist for the WHO is on record saying the Chinese government deliberately withheld information which stunted their response to the outbreak.
Im sure you’ll find a reason to discredit them as it doesn’t fit with your peculiar mission to defend the CCP at any cost.

You're all over the place. Your argument was about the nature of the PRC and their system being authoritarian and centralised and that is why Covid19 got out of hand. The experts (the ones you linked us to) are telling you that governments per se will be in denial until it becomes a forlorn position and only then will they act. If you dont think that's true just look at the European governements faced with the evidence from China and then denied the coming storm would happen.
Stop digging and get out of the JCB.

Well, at the risk of calling these ball bags at Westminster a "normal" government, that's exactly what they did too...for weeks and months when presented with the evidence we'd be hammered.
No mate we dont need convincing how badly the this govt have handled this mess.
But that does not exonerate the country that welded the doors of its citizens shut to stop the world seeing what was going on . But yet sent out footage of their troops sanitizing the streets doing their part to contain this virus.
