So I found out Tuesday evening I had been exposed to someone who tested positive for the virus. Took my test Wednesday morning, still waiting for the result. No symptoms but the wait is troubling.

My insurance provider required a referral from a doctor to have the cost for a test covered. Fee for the referral which took less than 5 minutes? $50.

Hospital figures - 419 deaths were announced today, down 15 on yesterday and up 84 on last Friday. 326 deaths were in English hospitals, down 20 on yesterday and up 80 on last week. The 7 day rolling average rises to 341.71

All settings - for the 28 day cut off, 511 deaths were announced today, up 10 on yesterday and up 135 on last Friday. The 7 day rolling average rises to an even 426

For the 60 day cut off, 544 deaths were announced today, up 17 on yesterday and up 157 on last Friday. The 7 day rolling average rises to 447.57

Red apparently wasn't enough for us, so the NYT added 3 shades of purple to the corona map. We are goin to plaid people.

If the majority of the country don't take the vaccine, there will be no way out of this.
Apparantly death is the alternative.

I mean if someone who refuses the vaccine then dies of said virus that would have otherwise protected them, should we really care about them?

It's not selling magic beans, it's a case of have this vaccine to protect you from a potentially deadly virus, no? Well sod you then.

They can leak whatever they want.
I ( and my family ) will be doing the very same we've been doing since March.

So pointless to go through months & months of this but then just throw it all away when there's a clear end to this.

I want many many more Christmas's not just this one.
Especially when it looks like most of the front line health workers and vulnerable will be vaccinated within a month after.

A few days of mass mixing will cause avoidable deaths.

Some people cannot have the vaccine which is why those of us who can, should.

The public won’t have Christmas being banned, so what’s the alternative ? Not just in this country by the way.

A different Christmas? A quieter, more reflective one?

I know my Dad is pretty pleased my Mum isnt fretting about seeing various kids and Grandchildren over the festive period, as per normal. He quietly pointed out that she can do all that at Easter instead.

Mate that says the ones who can't have the vaccine have no immune system!

If you can't have the vaccine then there is deeper issues with your health than covid.
