Hospital figures - 280 deaths were announced today, down 108 on yesterday and up 86 on last Sunday. 222 deaths were in English hospitals, down 94 on yesterday and up 90 on last week with 218 occurring in the past 10 days. The 7 day rolling average rises to 353.57

All settings - for the 28 day cut off, 398 deaths were announced today, up 58 on yesterday and up 230 on last Sunday. The 7 day rolling average rises to 441.43

For the 60 day cut off, 434 deaths were announced today, up 83 on yesterday and up 262 on last Sunday. The 7 day rolling average rises to 465.29
