This is obviously a much more serious illness than the flu, and we should have seen it if it’s spread significantly over here (so it suggests it didn’t to the level it has this year).

However what it says about what happened in the PRC is another question. Is there anyone who still believes their death figures for this?

Well if people did have covid over the winter last year then it wouldn't have been crap no?

Similar symptoms , similar experience etc.

If it's getting shown to be in Europe back in September then there is a good chance it was here as well.

It's even shown antibodies don't last all that long in line with other coronaviruses so it would also explain why so many people didn't get the virus back in march but have done now.

But like I say, no way of knowing now

From a MedRxiv preprint server so still has to undergo peer-review. But this is a large sample finding that compares COVID patients to national averages of intelligence testing controlling for numerous demographic variables. Scary stuff.

Hospital figures - 201 deaths were announced today, up 7 on yesterday and up 16 on last Monday. 190 deaths were in English hospitals, up 58 on yesterday and up 23 on last week with 188 occurring in the past 10 days. The 7 day rolling average rises slightly to 333.29

All settings - for the 28 day cut off, 213 deaths were announced today, up 45 on yesterday and up 19 on last Monday. The 7 day rolling average rises to 415.57

For the 60 day cut off, 220 deaths were announced today, up 48 on yesterday and up 17 on last Monday. The 7 day rolling average rises to 435.14

Not me but a couple of mates have locked onto it and they seem convinced. Don't know what to exacly believe tbh. After a episode with my daughter coming into contact with a positive case and her not being eligible for a free test disheartened my perception of the stats we are being fed.
I'll just stay waiting for good old "time" to reveal.

40 million Pfizer doses by 2 doses per person is 20 million people.

Or do I have that wrong and they are counting the two required injections as one dose.

If not that’s vaccines for 25 million people between Pfizer and Moderna next year. So far anyway, the Uk has a big buy of the Oxford vaccine and one or two others.

I believe the Moderna vaccine team are about to release their data from their trials similar to how Pfizer did this week, should be in the next few days.

This will tell us a lot. Its similar in technology and nature to the Pfizer vaccine, so if they show parallel efficacy its very good news and would indicate the Pfizer data is accurate and hasn't been overestimated.

I don’t buy into the conspiracy stuff but there is no doubt at all in my mind that this virus is being used - and will continue to be used - as a mechanism for change. I don’t think it was planned but it is an opportunity for change, one way or the other.

some of that change may well be good (fight against climate change etc)but when you see / hear phrases like “digital ID” knocking about, and “a green currency” (real push to get people who have lost jobs cause of this into ‘tech’ (cyber)), then I think it becomes pretty clear.

I could genuinely see a time in the not so distant future where you’ll have to have had the covid vaccine to travel

Now I’m not against vaccines in the slightest, but I really wouldn’t be surprised if it was the case

Anyone with any sense knew this thing had to have been about before December 30/31 last year and now it’s been all but proven
