Catching it in all the places still open plus inside their homes because social distancing isn’t a thing anymore.
Neighbours had a Halloween party tonight.

Gobshites.

The young daughter had a baby the other week as well, so everyone came round to visit, as it’s just seeing the baby like.

I would kick off, but they called the bizzies on me last time the pricks.

Dont worry mate if you live in a village and own a pub you are safe from the plebs in the cities...

Which is what I said earlier on in the year.

Expecting the whole world to self isolate with every cold they have is unworkable.

But then the other side is that the testing places have to be able to withstand the increase in demand. The one by mine I went to was fine to be honest, others I just hope have fixed the issue since the reported lack of availability.

A faster testing system would work wonders. Feeling ill? Get a test that day and miss one day of work before returning 1/2 days later.

That solves the problem even if it's theoretical. Easier and quicker to test people , the less chance of isolating for no reason.
The same reporter tweeted this this afternoon

Now, I'm a country bumpkin, so anywhere with more than ten people looks busy to me, but looking at the background in his video it doesn't look rammed by city standards.

I'd be rather tempted to file Inzy under F for Fuckwit.

I was in town Friday oddly enough. It was during the day time so wouldn't expect a massive crowd of people compared to today. It didn't seem that busy and shops / banks had a queing system in place where necessary.

I did see many people walking without a mask which given the point of wearing one still baffles me on church Street / lord street.

Would be interesting to get a perspective from someone who was in town today or generally any Saturday recently on numbers because as you say, that shot is very specifically placed to create a very specific image in a location that , apart from resturants , doesn't get half as much traffic as the street 30 seconds away.

Sorry but what?

Socially distancing inside your own home? How does that work with a family, everyone keeping two metres apart at all times ?

No panic buying of stuff today.

We did have a big queue outside though.

What was obvious to see was that trolleys were full.
Full of Christmas stuff, chocolates, advent calendars etc.
People want to have a normal Christmas and that goes with certain products I guess.
We won’t run out of normal everyday items, but we could do of seasonal gear maybe ?

I picked up some kids chocolates when I finished my shift to be honest.

( and the white chocolate oranges are boss if your local shop has them )

Edit. Nailsea has 60 oranges. Just checked.
Feck Christmas...who needs it anyway? Looking to live past it.. lol lol
