I reckon shops may open mid Dec. They'll get away with it at the time until it all hits in the New Year.
I'm not sure. The clown is already talking up a 'different Christmas' scenario...in other words, one where we're all in a lockdown.

IMO this month is the thin end of a very long wedge. I'd say we'll be looking at a 2-3 month lockdown...and the schools will close in the meantime too.

As others have pointed out, the deaths will continue to rise for at least the next 3 weeks. Maybe in the 4th week we might start seeing a decrease, but by then we could be looking at 500+ a day. Dont see this ending till next year personally.

Depends how long it takes them to realise that the whole thing exploded once everybody went back to school.

I just see them bowing the the pressure of big shops and their landlords

They still have to contend with students moving from cities to every single village in the country too. Again, only there to appease the uni bail out and landlord friends.

All about the economy for that lot. They'd happily carry on to a 4,000 death toll each day if it wasn't politically explosive. Their game will be to squeeze a bit more from the economy before finally bending to the call for schools to be shut. That's what the BS tier system was all about: the illusion of dealing with a virus getting out of control again but not closing the economy down. Just buying time for trading to continue. It'll cost us tens of thousands of lives, just as it did in March/April.

But it’s still the rule whether you choose to follow or not.

However you responding like that highlights why we’re heading into another lockdown.

We've had people at ours, inside with social distancing with the window open. Not that difficult.

6 weeks ago the clever people told them to shut down.

6 weeks, could have saved 000s of people and gave us a real crack at a short lockdown, but instead they have waited till its uncontrollable and given us a much longer window in lockdown.

Utter clowns.

Murderous incompetent clowns.

Imagine having voted for this scum. Shame on them whoever they are.

Imagine having voted for this scum and then complained about what the scum are doing like I saw somebody else do in this thread earlier on.

I don't think they know what shame is Dave, you cant do, you cant vote for such people and then have any normal human emotions.
