Northern Ireland lock down much greater than England's. As is Scotland's, and no doubt Wales soon. Pubs and restaurants shut. Real shut.
The fact is that Tier 3 here is nothing. It wont stop transmission rates going through the roof. We need a national lockdown and one that lasts weeks or even months. The longer that decision is delayed by the Tories who are still holding the door open for the virus in order to keep businesses open the greater will be the carnage and the longer will be the lockdown.
They learned nothing from March-April, because they didn't want to learn from it.

No don't read the Daily Fail - look in the past when I was on the political thread pages - I may have googled a newspaper for a point or headline Guilty as charged but TBH after today's ganging up

I think they have learnt a lot. Why should Devon and Cornwall close down because some in the North West cba following the rules ? Close down the areas where the problems are and let everyone else get on with their lives.....
Dave no one is forcing these people to cram in pubs mid week till closing like there’s nothing else to do. Eventually some people are just going to have to take it upon themselves to not go party for a while.
Most weekends where I live (small town) have been like that on a smaller scale since pubs reopened in July. Maybe less group chanting as that’s just weird outside a stadium haha.

However, responses to earlier postings give me the impression that nobody is very concerned. "just kids having a laugh" stuff.
To me it seems that a lot of people in Liverpool are not taking seriously the pandemic.
