You cannot control any virus if people are moving freely in our. Country , nevermind the hushed up news that th I had are using air travel - some socialist you are ......the idea of opening universities was money driven , look what's happened .....
Only you weren’t talking about people moving within the U.K. you’d decided the issue was with those arriving in the U.K. from elsewhere and started wanging on about elites.

As for socialism, I’m not the one who sold their soul to the Tories for the Unicorns of Brexit. Let that sink in.

The scientist definitely stated children's were less likely to catch it so no you have not cleared it up as per usual.......
You've changed the quote from "--- won't get it" to "--- less likely to".
There's a big difference there.
A scientist at this stage would never say never.
Cleared up!

Yes you can. You need the correct measures in place and a compliment population willing to support test and trace and isolation appropriately.

I'm always happy to help @Joey66
The population has being following the rules bar a few and look where we are today, more cases than ever before!
More people wearing masks than ever before, and here we are?

Send the students home, most of their course is online anyway, why are they even here?

they are there because if they are home and learning virtually they will request lower fees and those institutions will not survive without that revenue and there are no further hand outs available.

and students are going to do what they are going to do. They went to the pub, legally. They got drunk, legally. They all left the pub at the same time as that’s what happens when there is a curfew.

What do people expect? But the authorities WANT this. They want these pictures because then they can point and say look at these idiots. These are the problem. Ignoring that they wouldnt be there in the first place had they not been back to uni.

And it clearly is students. Because who else goes out in town on a Tuesday night? Absolutely no one other than students.

The whole vilifying of Liverpool is proper doing my head in yanno.

I'm currently living in Edinburgh and we and the rest of central Scotland were put under what are currently tighter restrictions than this whole Tier 3 thing in Liverpool atm. Here all pubs and restaurants were shut, not this jarg Spoons can stay open loophole or anything, it's just cafe's before 6pm and takeaways here.

The Scottish government proactively put these measures in place rather than facilitating things getting out of hand like the Government has with Liverpool.

Basically, the tories just want to keep the economy running as close to normal as possible, even in a Tier 3 Liverpool, because the only other solution is finding a way to subsidise the people and sectors out of work... but why do that when you can just leave places open and make out it's the people of Liverool's fault?

How people can still defend this Government is just beyond me.

Wearing masks (what percentage are wearing them appropriately?) is one factor in reducing infection rates - it needs to be applied with others.

Similarly, what percentage of people isolate if they have symptoms or are awaiting tests? Less than 20% according to SAGE.

Its really helpful you've been so specific as to which scientist stated this about children's and have maintained the same wording as your original post I replied to in this one.

It helps to build dialogue and understanding.
The understanding that you are never wrong & Corbyn was going to storm to power ......he got hammered....... 80 seat majority.........disastrous......but you oh he will win ......did you ever get my dialogue at the time he had no chance of winning......
A Tory house brick in a blue rosette would have beat him......

not defending the government but come on.. you can't blame them for knob heads who simply can't follow rules!

To be fair, the value of a degree is less the actual knowledge you gain as the signal you can provide to the labour market that you're reasonably intelligent in a particular field. There's been a few studies lately showing that graduates from top tier universities aren't that much more capable than graduates from more mediocre institutions, but obviously their pay once they graduate is poles apart.

I'll unpick this for ease.

I'm often wrong.
I never backed Corbyn, nor did I think he would get into power.
The drivel you've just written has no effect on your previously incorrect statement.

I'm glad your Tory party support is working out well for you...
