Which begs the question of why schools weren't reopened earlier after the initial spike had subsided. Essentially all it did was kick the can down the road. Closing them again is not solving the problem of the spread in schools.

Exactly the elite are spreading the virus far more when's the last time we had an update of air travel, or the Channel tunnel travel?
I can guess the virus is being spread far worse than the new rules they cooked up .......Remember the advice the scientist stated the young would never get this virus ........

Having just had the flu jab, I really hope they make the COVID jab easier or there will be chaos.

I hear the method of Covid Vaccination is distribution through Microsoft applications - anyone using Windows or MS Teams is already got it.

Obviously see what happens over the next few days, but the process was chaotic. We tried a few pharmacists near to us. One had none in, another wasn't offering it and didn't know where was, another was booked up for a while. Found a Superdrug who had a slot available today so booked it (on Friday). Turn up today and they say you've got to download an app to book the appointment and they can't give you the vaccine until you've done that. Download the app and there's nowhere on there to actually book an appointment, it's repeat prescriptions only. None of the staff knew how the app worked, with a couple not even aware that one existed. Utter shambles.

I’m on the extremely vulnerable list, but somehow got missed off the invitation list by our useless local surgery. They’d already booked up until mid November when I rang and asked, so I kicked off and hey presto a slot appeared.

Given the stakes are probably going to be rather higher for the COVID vaccine, I really hope they're using this experience to sharpen up, or it could be a complete balls up.

Only the infection rates here are far higher than most other countries, so why are you focusing on people supposedly ‘bringing it in’? You do know there’s quarantine requirements for anyone coming in from a country on the Govts list right?

This isn’t about an ‘elite’ it’s about people mixing and spreading the virus by not following the guidance. This has been obvious for weeks and weeks and yet there’s been nothing really done in terms of enforcement.

Yes you can. You need the correct measures in place and a compliment population willing to support test and trace and isolation appropriately.

Its really helpful you've been so specific as to which scientist stated this about children's and have maintained the same wording as your original post I replied to in this one.
