Me too, i hav'nt voted for years, don't like any of them, struggle to get behind any party tbh and some of the smaller more niche parties have nice ideas but will never get in so it's pointless.

Yes it's obvious any deadline in any walk of life with plenty of notice the public will make an effort to rush to enjoy or profit by......

They have done it since the curfew has been put in place. 2 weeks, two weeks of people dancing in the street afterwards. They delayed the rule of 6 and everyone flooded out in big groups that weekend .
If you set a deadline for anything then people are going to take advantage of it whilst they can.

Having just had the flu jab, I really hope they make the COVID jab easier or there will be chaos.
The cost of having schools closed can't be quantified. It's absolutely enormous.
Nothing will convince me that the pros of closing outweigh the cons.

Only the infection rates here are far higher than most other countries, so why are you focusing on people supposedly ‘bringing it in’? You do know there’s quarantine requirements for anyone coming in from a country on the Govts list right?
This isn’t about an ‘elite’ it’s about people mixing and spreading the virus by not following the guidance. This has been obvious for weeks and weeks and yet there’s been nothing really done in terms of enforcement.

Obviously see what happens over the next few days, but the process was chaotic. We tried a few pharmacists near to us. One had none in, another wasn't offering it and didn't know where was, another was booked up for a while. Found a Superdrug who had a slot available today so booked it (on Friday). Turn up today and they say you've got to download an app to book the appointment and they can't give you the vaccine until you've done that. Download the app and there's nowhere on there to actually book an appointment, it's repeat prescriptions only. None of the staff knew how the app worked, with a couple not even aware that one existed. Utter shambles.

Yet hundreds of thousands pass through the tube station's in London each day and are packed in like a tin of sardines and have been during lockdown and post lockdown. People who come from all over the country, but a few people dancing in the street on their last day of freedom is shocking!!

Airports flying people in from all over the world multiple times a day to each city in the UK.
Ive flew to and from the uk during this pandemic 4 times and trust me the test and fly is nonsense. I done my covid test then had to wait 2 days before i could fly, During the 2 days waiting for the results i could go out drinking/shopping or do anything i wanted to and that was me entering the uk.
Again a few people congregating after a few drinks is the problem? And people on here and everywhere else are quick to point the finger "Thats why we are going into a second lockdown"
No were in this situation because of the government no one else.
A strategy of trying to keep the economy ticking over whilst keeping the hospitals manageable has been shocking.
They're draining each and everyone of us living a life, and for how long? Because now as you can see people are making their own judgement call on it from how they see it. I think people have seen enough graphs/charts/cases/ratios etc.. to last them a lifetime.
